Hope & Death is a property developed for the comic pages of newspapers and distributed by Creators Syndicate.
The strip revolves around the life of an orphaned little girl named Hope. Her best friend, Death - a mini-version of the grim reaper - is a funny & frank coping mechanism that only she can see. Hope lives with her loving and hapless Grandpa.
The strip's central theme is "growing up is no place for a kid." Life can be hard, but Hope & Death overcome its difficulties through humor and optimism.
Currently, the development team is working to translate H&D into an animated series.
